AnimalShield does not have any official office or shelter. We work with multiple animal rescue and welfare groups and individuals and a team of volunteers that help support our mission.
Since AnimalShield is a 100% volunteer-run organization, we're always looking for people who want to bring a positive difference in the world through their efforts. If you, or anyone you know, is interested in becoming a volunteer, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a message here.
Ways to Help:
Writing/Blogging Write a blog, newsletter blasts, and other communications as they come to upkeep our website.
Graphic Design – We always need graphic designers to create newsletters, flyers, posters, marketing materials, etc.
Social Media – To help fulfill our mission of bringing education and awareness to as many people as possible, we need to have regular posts so the public can stay informed of our work and it also serves as a wonderful marketing tool for finding donations.
Photography/Videography – We need help with taking photos of the animals that we rescue and photos of our special events. Anyone who likes photography is welcome.
Events Volunteer – We organize and participate in various events such as plantation drives, cleaning drives, etc. to help save the wildlife and to educate people on animal welfare issues. We need a lot of help when these special events take place.
Emergency Animal Care Our rescue groups are often occupied with so many urgent rescues that sometimes no one is available to address a serious emergency case and situation worsens when a disaster strikes. There are many animal lovers willing to help animals but they’re very less in number as compared to the number of animals waiting for help. We need volunteers, in every city/town/village who can reach out to the animal in distress at the earliest so that no animal has to die in pain.
Fundraising – Donation boxes, charity potlucks, bake sale, garage sale, sell crafts, or organize other special activities to raise funds to donate to our cause. We provide full support for these fundraising initiatives to be successful. 100% of your proceeds go towards the animals.
Foster Parenting If you are willing to heal, nurture, love an animal until it finds a forever home then please reach out to us. We’re always in need of foster parents. We supply all our foster homes with the food and supplies they need while they are caring for an animal.
Transportation If you have a vehicle and have some time to spare, we are always looking for volunteers to help drop off and pick up street animals at the vet, and to help transport and distribute supplies and food donations.
Spay Neuter We require volunteers to help trap street animals that have not been spayed or neutered and to transport them to and from the vets where they can be neutered or spayed.
Distributing Brochures We need help with distributing flyers at pet stores, vet offices, grocery stores, community centers, office bulletin boards to spread awareness about our work, to find donations and to educate the public on important issues.
Alone we can do so little, Together we can do so much.
